the wee hours of morning.

For a precious few seconds, my car was the only one cruising along the ECP. Jordan Hill’s Remember Me This Way played on the radio, and the dusty streetlight filtered through the trees lining the expressway. It was a strange sort of serenity, a dynamic serenity, with time and scenery flashing past, a fragile serenity you knew could not last, a moving sort of serenity that was so sweet precisely because it could be broken at the very next second. I slowed down, just to savour the moment.

If you lose your way
Think back on yesterday
Remember me this way
